Jarvis Pierce from Independence High School in Charlotte, North Carolina is one of the most underrated players in the state of North Carolina.  Jarvis tied for 2nd in the state with 20 sacks on the year.  I had a chance to catch up with Jarvis on Monday night and talk to him about how this season went and how his recruitment was going.  Jarvis told me that Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina has offered him and is recruiting him the hardest.  Jarvis mentioned that Marshall, South Carolina, and South Carolina State are also recruiting him.  Right now, Jarvis doesn’t have any favorites and looks to get more attention now that the season has ended.

Jarvis reflected back on this season and said that he learned a lot and that this season was a lot of fun.  He mentioned that he immediately going to work on getting stronger so that he was better prepared to play at the next level.  I enjoyed talking with Jarvis, he’s a great kid and I think that he’s one of the best Defensive End’s in the state.  We’ll continue to monitor Jarvis and how his recruitment is going.  Take a look at his profile and video here.  I’m confident that after watching Jarvis in action, you truly will see what mayhem he creates for offensive lineman across the state.
