About Athlete Vault
Athlete Vault is a website designed for high school athletes, coaches, parents, fans, and college coaches. Athlete Vault is a free site that sends highlights out to the colleges. We do this by emailing highlights out to our college contacts and providing the appropriate contact info for them to follow up about your kids. It’s a free service that sends out to the colleges your already created highlights or if you do not have highlights made you can send us your game film and we will create your highlights for free. With it being free, it almost seems too good to be true, doesn’t it? It's unnecessary to spend large amounts of money on a highlight film when Athlete Vault can do yours for free. The highlights Athlete Vault creates are obviously considered high quality in the eyes of college coaches as there are a number of kids on this site that are receiving offers off of the created videos. In fact, a large number of D-1, D-1AA, and D-2 college coaches told high school coaches this past spring evaluation period that they saw videos on their kids at AthleteVault.com. Athlete Vault has been around for four years and last year alone we were able to send out to the colleges over 1,000 highlights from across the Southeast. This year, we have already surpassed that. We email the video links to the colleges and provide the prospect’s height/weight/year/position and give them the appropriate contact info (HS Coach/Parent/Prospect contact info) to follow up. We also provide links for you to send out if a college calls that will not only save you money from sending out countless DVD's/postage but we also can send you a DVD of the highlights for you to distribute during the spring eval period. You might be asking what the difference is between Athlete Vault and other recruiting services that are out there? Well, 1) We are and always will be in it for the kids! 2) We are a free service, 3) The videos are sent out to over 400 colleges and thousands of coaches (ranging from D-1, D-1AA, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO if needed) and many of them have close relationships with Athlete Vault, and 4) We know what the colleges are looking for in a highlight film. The average college coach will not watch your complete highlight film at first, they turn the music down, and they watch possibly 10-15 plays because of the large quantity of films they have to review. Now if they like what they see, they will follow up and check on the transcripts, request game film, etc. Later they might review the whole highlight film as a staff but that first initial look is a big step. What does that mean? It means that you better make sure that a college coach is seeing your best footage right away and you are not wasting his time with non-game action footage. Don’t believe me?
